This Sunday Funday was more exciting (and tastier) than most. Verde Mexican Kitchen and Cantina hosted a private event to celebrate the restaurant’s new executive chef, David Bulman, and the new menu options he is bringing to the eatery. Maniac was there sampling each delicious dish from the featured tasting menu and we’re looking forward to each becoming permanent fixtures at the East Liberty hotspot. From mahi mahi tacos, to avocado sorbet (my favorite) this exclusive preview was a treat for my tastebuds.
New items will be added to the menu over the next few weeks, and a full menu change should be in place by the beginning of September. Stop by Verde this week during Pittsburgh Restaurant Week and get a taste for yourself. You won’t regret it!
