Our friends at LUXE celebrated their grand opening event on Thursday evening and Maniac was there to view the best of kitchen and bath design. Luxe teamed up with Pittsburgh Social Exchange to bring nearly 300 people to the Indigo Square affair. The scene was nothing but classic and first-class with valet parking, a full red carpet entrance, and beautiful decor surroundings. VIP guests enjoyed champagne and delicious light fare at the VIP reception and gathered around to witness the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony promptly at 4:30. Hors d’oeuvres were prepared by Anthony Marino of Dons Appliance, Chef Kevin Hermann from The Porch at Schenley, and Steven Thompson of Bluebird Kitchen.
An array of gorgeous home supplies, accessories, and decor filled the tri-level space and was of course the main attraction of the night. Owner, Brent Hugus, was all smiles and mingled with the crowd, showing off the incredible new location. It’s amazing to see businesses like Luxe opening shop in East Liberty, which is booming with new hotspots and culture. We want to congratulate our friends at Luxe on this new accomplishment and now can’t wait to redesign our kitchen and baths!
