“Life is short,” may be an overused saying, but it is also completely true. We have one chance to explore this world, so why not travel to see all of what is has to offer. We encourage you all to make your lives a beautiful adventure, so we gathered a list of the top ten places you must see before you die. Travel, do crazy things, make memories. 1) Sea of Stars on Vaadhoo Island in the Maldives
This water is absolutely mesmerizing, and the romantic natural lighting is something you must see in your lifetime. What is the secret? Phytoplankton. They are bioluminescent and emanate the blue glow.
2) Salar De Uyuni in the Potosí and Oruro departments of Southwest Bolivia
Heaven on Earth. Salar De Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat, located at about 12,000 feet above sea level. During the rainy season, the water turns it into the world’s largest mirror. Fun Fact: tourists are only able to travel to this location via hot air balloon.
3) To Sua Ocean Trench in the Lotofaga village on the south coast of Upolu, Samoa
How can you not add this to your bucket list? This giant hole is an all-natural swimming pool, which is an awesome tourist destination for children and adults.
4) The swing at the “End of the World” in Baños, Ecuador
You might ask, what’s so special about a swing? Well this swing hangs you over the edge of the world! Overlooking an active volcano, this swing with no harness was made for the bravest people out there.
5) Victoria Falls bordering Zimbabwe and Zambia in Africa
“Victoria” — is one of the most amazing attractions of Africa. It was created by the Zambezi River. It is the only waterfall in the world that is over one kilometer wide and over one hundred meters deep.
6) Glowworm Caves in Waitomo, New Zealand
The Glowworm Caves is a location you have to add to your vacation wish-list. The glow worm, Arachnocampa luminosa, is native to New Zealand, and these worms provide luminescent light while boat riders take a fascinating ride through history.
7) Haiku Stairs of Oahu in Hawaii, United States
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. The Stairway to Heaven is actually closed to the public, but risk takers from all of the world continue to climb it.
