From clothing and scarves, to even our hair, the ombre trend is everywhere!
So, what is your take on this trend?
Ombre means graduated in shading or tone. It typically goes from darker to lighter, top to bottom….and it often looks fabulous in doing so! That being said, the “fading” pattern can also go from bottom up or from side-to-side. Any way you wear it, it is a very “now” look.
For hair, ombre color is a flattering and low-maintainecetechnique that will suit the most daring or most conservative fashionista.
For clothing, it is fresh and hip, a modernized-meets-70’s look.
Ombre hair requires a delicate balance. It has to look somewhat natural but still be noticeable. However, it cannot cross that line where it looks like you forgot to touch up your roots for a year, or like you accidentally dipped your tips in bleach when you have naturally black hair. Believe it or not, as effortless as the ombre hair trend looks, it is a fine art.
For clothes, we can be less careful and just have fun with the trend. Ombre is everywhere from flirty tops to vintage-inspired scarves, sexy dresses, and more.
