As of May 15th Tommy Hilfiger will be releasing his new collection of swim and beachwear. His usually classic brand is taking on a more relaxed vibe with the limited edition Surf Shack collection. The collection oozes with breezy fabrics countered with bold prints and bursts of neon. He has designed alluring white jumpsuits, striped sundresses, triangle-top bikinis, and lazy beach day inspired pullovers.
The whole collection is influenced by the ocean, surf, and beach, “I’ve always been inspired by the easy, laid-back vibe of surf culture and beach life,” Hilfiger said about this collection. He complements the line with a series of beautifully designed surfboards that artists such as: Lola Motes Schnabel, Richard Phillips, Raymond Pettibon, Gary Simmons, and Scott Campbell designed surfboards have designed breathtaking images on. They will be displayed in the Tommy boutiques across the country, but I think are probably better off hanging safely on a wall rather than hanging loose in the ocean.
