DIY Flower Crowns in 2 Simple Steps
Flower crowns have been all the rage this year, but trying to find one to fit your style and your budget can be difficult! So, why not make one? DIYing these flower crowns is fast, fun, and easy! Not to mention affordable! Check out our quick how-to below!
What you’ll need:
- fake flowers
- a hot glue gun
- glue sticks
- wire
- scissors
- wired rope (optional)
- floral tape (optional)
Step 1:
Gather your the flowers that you wish to use and wrap the stem into a circle shape. (Hold it up to your head to make sure that it fits!) Secure the circle shape with whatever you choose! (We used thin wire!)
Step 2:
Wrap a second strand of flowers around the first (we intertwined some of ours to give it a “vine” effect!) to add depth or simply hot glue a bigger flower on! If you wish to cover any wire that may be showing, you can glue leaves on top of it! Or cover it with floral tape!
That’s it! So cute! And so much cheaper than buying a crown online or in stores! We spent about $40 on all of our supplies and were able to make five crowns! Not too shabby!
