After designing high profile creations for Wiz Khalifa, Dave Mirra, Mac Miller and Samira Wiley, Benjamin Smith, of Brush Footwear, is making waves in the art & fashion world once again! Brush Footwear is back to creating custom shoes for celebrities with his newest creation for dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Brush Footwear created one-of-a-kind Converse Chuck Taylor high tops for Valentin featuring a unique black and grey geometric camouflage design. The hand-painted leather shoes also feature Valentin’s signature logo, painted on the heel of the shoe and lasered on hand-stitched leather tags on the shoe’s tongue. The shoes also came with a custom, hand-painted Stampd “New York” snapback to go with Valentin’s collection.
As we stated before, Brush Footwear has been on a role with his creations as of late. One of his most recent creations was the custom Saint Laurent Mini Tote made for Samira Wiley and used on the our very own Women of Power cover. The bag features a similar geometric pattern as Valentin’s custom shoes which has been a staple that Brush uses in many of his creations.
