Florsheim & Brush by Ben Smith Collaborate
Brush by Ben Smith, formally known as Brush Footwear, has teamed up with American heritage footwear brand Florsheim Shoes to bring us a capsule collection you just have to see. The capsule is made up of three styles from Florsheim’s collection (Bucktown Wing Ox, Limited Ninety-Two Ox, and Jet Plain Ox), which Brush by Ben Smith then turned into wearable art.
We’ve been following Smith’s career for years now and have always been a fan of the unique work he creates. He transforms everyday pieces like shoes, bags, and hats into works of art. The pieces are hand painted using a special formulated acrylic paint that doesn’t chip, fade, or wear off the leather. By doing this, each piece he creates, like the Florsheim Shoes, are functional and able to be worn every day.
