Fashion Friday: Our Love for the A Line Skirts Trend
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always chosen to wear skirts and dresses over pants. I’m not sure if it’s because I feel they are easier and more comfortable to wear or if it’s because I feel more put together when I wear them, but I’ll take a nice skirt over a pair of jeans any day! I’ve had many “skirt phases”, as I like to call them. There’s been the maxi skirt phase, the mini skirt phase (2007 anyone?), the midi skirt phase, and now, the A line skirt phase. A line skirts are definitely a trend, I know, but that’s not the reason why I am currently obsessed. This type of skirt is so flattering on any body type (seriously) and is the absolute perfect shape. It’s also super versatile! Any type of shirt works great with an A line skirt, so you can style it any way you’d like! I love the high-waisted A line skirts paired with a crop top, or for the colder months, tucking in a sweater and wearing tights. These skirts come in all different patterns, colors, and fabrics as well! My collection alone includes two jean, two suede and one corduroy.
