VIDEO: True Detective Teaser Trailer
With last year’s season pulling in an average of 10.9 million viewers each week, it should come as no surprise that True Detective’s season 2 teaser trailer is spreading like wildfire. The HBO dramatic miniseries which starred Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson won five Primetime Emmy awards and gained a huge following both on television and online. So the big question now is will this new season (with a different cast) live up to the legacy left by last year’s? After watching this teaser, we’d say “yes”!
What will happen when a career criminal (Vince Vaughn) and a war veteran/motorcycle cop (Taylor Kitsch) are drafted to help two LA detectives (Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell) solve a murder case? Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out! Check out the teaser trailer below for a sneak peek at what this season’s eight episodes will bring!
