The World’s First Ever Pinterest Yard Sale is here!
Amy Devers, host of the 127 sale, a furniture designer, carpenter, design blogger, and tv personality on many home improvement shows including “Trading Spaces”, “DIY to the Rescue”, and “House Made Simple” created an elite team of DIY experts to take on the 127 Yard Sale. Running through six states (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama) along the entire length of Route 127, the 127 yard sale is a total of 690 miles long! The Krylon spray team traveled along Route 127 over a span of four days using Krylon’s unique products and finishes to turn one man’s trash into another’s treasure while making “how to” videos along the way to help you Make It Yours with Krylon.
They’ve recreated 127 items; everything from vases and plates to roller derby skates and furniture! They have already made a whopping $2362 from their transformed creations! All proceeds attained from the yard sale are donated to San Marcos, California’s Charity Wings Art & Craft Center , an inspiring place for all ages to Gather, Give Back, and Create. The center offers free art classes to give everybody a taste of all the positivity that art can provide all while partnering with other charities serving the disabled community, low income families, military/veterans and more.
