Kanye vs Kimmel
So, apparently Jimmy Kimmel really pissed off another celebrity with his spoof of Kanye West’s BBC interview Thursday night. Using two bratty youngsters to replace Kanye during the parody interview, they mock West’s attempt at boasting his top of the charts success. During the original interview, West mentioned rappers were the new rock stars and confidently boasted on him being the biggest of them all. With a statement like that, who wouldn’t challenge it?
“Throw your hands up in the sky and say we don’t care what people say,” quoted from West’s “We Don’t Care” song is rather catchy, but definitely doesn’t seem to be the rapper’s true motto when it comes to defending his own personality. The banter between the talk show host and West quickly spread across Twitter as fans witnessed (and participated in) the two threatening to “unfollow” one another (Kanye slapping the keys in all-caps per usual).
But, naturally, Kimmel used West’s comments as more material, as he publicly read the rapper’s tweets to his audience, stating, “Finally, I’m in a rap feud. I always wanted to be in a rap feud.”
