Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few months, you are aware who Carly Rae Jepsen is. Her single, “Call Me Maybe”, was all over the airwaves (and our iPods) this summer and inspired a slew of cover songs on YouTube. Gaining recognition from stars such as Justin Bieber, it’s hard not to love this adorable songstress. Winning “Song of the Year” at the MTV Music Awards has definitely proven that Carly is going somewhere – like the cover of Cosmopolitan perhaps?
Carly looks amazing on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s January issue. Not only has she surpassed the “one hit wonder” stereotype, it looks like the 27-year-old (27?!) pop princess is here to stay. She celebrated her birthday in November and embraces her age and the years she sees attached to her face. Good for her! While so many women are terrified of every line and wrinkle, Carly is celebrating them. How can you not love that?
