It’s that time of year again…The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting colder, and artists are releasing new music. Here’s a list of some of the most anticipated albums of the season and when you can expect to see them on the shelves!

“Shake It Off” is the only one of 13 songs off of Taylor Swift’s new album to be heard by the world, but it already spent its first two weeks at number one. Following her “every two years” release rule, Swift’s album will be her first since 2012’s Red and is her first completely pop album so far. Though the change shouldn’t be too much of a shock to fans who have watched her slowly cross over the country line with the past three albums.
Lil Wayne
The Carter V – Oct. 28
November
Foo Fighters
Sonic Highways – Nov. 10
The eighth studio album from Foo Fighters is unique in that each of the eight tracks was recorded in a different city (Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Washington DC and New York). HBO will be running an eight-episode mini-series documenting the recordings and offering a behind the scenes look at the inspirations for the album. Both the show and the album’s first single are set to release on October 17th. Here’s hoping that Sonic Highways follows in 2012’s Wasting Light’s Grammy-filled footsteps.
Pink Floyd
The Endless River – Nov. 11
One Direction
Four – Nov. 17
Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas – Nov. 21
Nicki Minaj
The Pinkprint – Nov. 24
Eminem
Shady XV – Nov. 24
December
After featuring in two top ten singles, (Icona Pop’s “I Love It” and Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy”), Charli XCX dropped one of her own. “Boom Clap” is the first single off of her new album and was part of the soundtrack for The Fault in Our Stars. It currently sits at number 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. If the rest of the album sounds anything like that or the second single, “Break the Rules”, we may have a new queen.
Fifth Harmony
