Is it just me, or did Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively start dating yesterday? Apparently the two sneaky lovebirds got married when we weren’t looking. With our backs turned, Reynolds and Lively tied the knot in South Carolina with the lovely voice of Florence Welch in the background. Obviously, the only acceptable way to get married. Though no photos have been leaked yet, word on the street is they looked gorgeous. Shocker.
According to a press release, Blake and her bridesmaids wore custom gowns designed by Marchesa. Blake’s had a “hand-draped silk bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery,” according to a press release. NYFW who? We want to see pictures of the ceremony. Ok. We want to see pictures of Ryan Reynolds because let’s be honest,
when don’t we? No offense Blake.
Though our hearts are hoping for this one to work, Ryan doesn’t have the best track
record when it comes to romance. He got married to Scarlett Johansson in a semi-secret
ceremony and they were divorced after a year. Prior to that was his four year relationship
with Alanis Morissette but they split before he put a ring on it. It looks to us like Mr.
Reynolds is a bit of a serial monogamist.
Although Ryan and Blake have been in dating bliss for the past year it would have been
nice to actually hear the wedding bells before they were rung. Here’s to love, laughter
and happily ever after for the newlyweds. We’re rooting for you at MANIAC.
