Maniac Magazine: Who or what inspires you most in regards to fashion?
Keri Lynne: I get inspiration from watching my favorite shows. Yes, I’m guilty of mindless reality TV! I love the bachelor, housewives, or Kardashians just to scope out what they are wearing. Also, I love reading People Style Watch.

MM: How would you describe your own personal style?
KL: My personal style is chic, girly, and a little bit edgy. I love a good mix. Sometimes you will see me in a frilly, fun dress, then other times a bold red lip with my staple faux leather leggings. I’m also not afraid to go casual! I am a sucker for my Jets or Yankee’s hat and a pair of sneakers.

MM: Do you like to stick to more classic pieces or explore different trends?
KL: I love exploring trends! However, I always keep my staple items close by. Like my go to leather jacket, my designer purses and you conniver go wrong with a good pair of designer heels. For me, it’s quality over quantity!

MM: How did you get started with Insta-blogging?
KL: I got started about a year and a half ago. I simply started posting original pictures of what I was wearing, beauty products I love and hair style tips. It then grew from there! Every month I had new companies contact me and I was able to collaborate on different projects which got my account out there. I try to keep my page fun and original.

MM: How do you keep yourself inspired? What do you do for fun to keep your mind focused on the creative process? 
KL: I love learning new things! I have played guitar since I was 8 years old and I also write my own music. I feel that creativity is not limited and it is all connected. My 3 and 6 year olds keep me creative too! Being a Mom inspires me the most. They are so fun and always on the go. Seeing them grow and learn pushes me to do the same.

MM: You’re looking to launch kerilynne.com, that’s so exciting! What will the site be like and what are your goals for it?
KL: I am so excited! I finally feel like I have my Instagram (which has been my main platform) in a good place. So now the next step is to launch kerilynne.com. I wanted to dedicate my first year to one main platform, and now it’s time to grow and build! My goals for the website are to make women feel safe, but also have fun! I want to inspire other women to create goals and believe in themselves. A ton of it will be about confidence, beauty/fashion but I also have a section that’s real and raw, all about mommy stuff! Being real and talking about real life is a great way to connect!

MM: How did you get started in the personal stylist business?
KL: After graduating with my BA in my 20’s, I was in charge of two independent clothing stores. Meaning, I did everything from buying and merchandising to staffing and budgets. My favorite thing to do (aside from traveling) is helping clients find their “perfect look” and seeing them look and feel confident and happy! It was truly rewarding and I never forgot that feeling. I personal style and shop for clients on the side now that my main focus is on blogging and being a mommy!

MM: In your opinion, what are the top 5 wardrobe essentials that should be in everyone’s closet?
KL: A form fitted jacket, a designer purse (I love my LV’s), a quality pair of skinny jeans, black shaper leggings (that are NOT see through), and oversized T’s and sweaters.

MM: What is your most Maniac moment?
KL: I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit! Deciding to put aside my fears, pushing myself to pursue my passions, taking small steps towards my goals, and realizing no one else is going to do it for you…that’s definitely my Maniac moment. It’s tough to take the first step, but if you believe in yourself you can really do anything! Focus on your own dreams, because everyone is different and on their own path. Inspire, be kind and create!
