Blogger of the Week: Josefin Dahlberg AKA josefinsoso
If you haven’t heard of Josefin Dahlberg, you’ve been missing out! Also known as josefinsoso on Instagram, this Swedish beauty has been taking the fashion world by storm. At only 25 she is already the the editor-in-chief for modette.se, and she is not going to stop. We love her style that ranges from super edgy, to girly and feminine. Her blog is about everything we love: Fashion, beauty, home decor, travel, and food! We asked her how she got started and what keeps her going.
Maniac Magazine: Who or what inspires you most when it comes to fashion?
Josefin Dahlberg: My favorite girls at the moment are Maja Wyh, Nina Suess, Leandra Medine, Karlas closet, and of course street style!
MM: What is one piece of clothing that you cannot live without?
JD: My leather pants…
MM: How would you describe your personal style?
JD: Boho, chic, playful, simple and a lot of details.
MM: Who are some of your favorite bloggers?
JD: Maja Wyh, Nina Suess, Leandra Medine, Karlas closet
MM: You are only 25 and already editor-in-chief for modette.se! What is your advice for people who want to get into the fashion/ blogger business? How did you get started?
JD: I studied Journalism and multimedia for three years and started as an intern. I really worked hard so I could get good references and that really help me. I’m a big dreamer but also work hard. A good combo to be able to do what you want! So Dream Big!!
MM: Scandinavians are often much more fashion forward than people in other countries. You seem super confident in your pictures, what advice can you give to our readers?
JD: Just do it! Dont think about what other people are thinking. That’s the worst thing you can do in life. Just be yourself. In everything! Your outfits, your work, studying, hobbies…It’s cooler to be unique!
MM: What is your secret tip for the perfect Instagram feed? Do you follow a certain theme?
JD: Use the same filter!! And have light photos and do not post three selfies after another.
MM: When you aren’t blogging or working, what do you like to do for fun?
JD: Hang with my friends and sisters. Having dinner parties, work out, do yoga and dance!!
MM: What is your most maniac moment?
JD: Haha that must be on my latest trip to New York when a gang of guys started to pose behind me without me noticing!
