As you all know, last night was the 86th Academy Awards. Our lovely host for the night was the forever famous, Ellen DeGeneres. Watching the night unfold last night, I can honestly say I couldn’t stop laughing. Ellen really knows how to keep an audience happy and really knows how to get a photo retweeted over a million times in less than an hour.
This was the photo of the hour, of the night, and even trending still today! Pictured are many talented actors and actresses, those being: Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong’o and her brother Junior Nyong’o, Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto’s eye. Quite a group I would say! “If only Bradley’s arm were longer. Best photo ever. #oscars.” This is totally true, then we would have gotten more of Jared Leto, haha! The press actually managed to get a full photo of this random experience as well.
Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. I think this really captures a night at the Oscars, where even though most of us will never experience, we totally understand our arms not being long enough for group selfies! Even our nation’s top entertainers have to deal with the difficulty. Besides the #oscars photo being the most retweeted photo in history, there was still the actual awards to be celebrated!
