December welcomed the opening of Stage AE, the newest and hippest music venue in Pittsburgh. Located on the North Shore, Stage AE is only the second indoor and outdoor music venue in the country. It boasts some state-of-the-art equipment—from lighting to acoustical systems.
It also has some serious bragging rights in the area of opening artists. On December 3, Girl Talk, aka Pittsburgh-native Gregg Gillis, played Stage AE’s very first show (and/or massive dance and sweat party) to a near sell-out crowd. Fellow Pittsburgher Wiz Khalifa quickly followed by playing two awesome sold-out shows back-to-back on December 16-17.
So Maniacs, keep an eye out for the 100+ shows to be hosted at Stage AE throughout the year!
