This upcoming Monday, Dec. 2nd, MGMT (one of my favorite bands) will be performing at Stage AE at the North Shore! With hits like, “Kids,” “Electric Feel,” and “Time to Pretend” which made them popular, you don’t want to miss this event.
MGMT was created in 2002 during founders Andrew Van Wyngarden and Ben Goldwasser’s freshman year at Wesleyan University in Middletown Connecticut. After graduating in 2005, they released the EP Time to Pretend on the independent record label, Cantora Records. Their success grabbed the attention of Columbia Records, which signed them in 2006. Today the band consists of Vanwyngarden, Goldwasser, James Richardson, Matt Asti and Will Berman. They released their newest, self-titled album last September.
