British pop star Jessie J decided to start her 25th birthday off with a complete transformation–shaving off her trademark black hair and bangs for the charity Comic Relief Fund, and then bleaching it blonde.
Jessie said about the event to British publication The Mirror, “I feel exhilarated to be able to raise money for people who aren’t fortunate enough to say something and be heard. I wanted to do something that wasn’t just for today – it’s going to last a few months.”
The 25-year-old ‘Price Tag‘ singer may look a little more G.I. Jane than usual, but the £500,000 she raised for the charity is sure to be worth the new ‘do.
Jessie smiled big as she showed off her new look on her Instagram account to the shock of her thousands of followers, rocking some large, gold hoop earrings and a black dress with some fun, sexy cutouts.
Even if her fans might take some time getting used to her drastic new look, we’re definitely loving it. If anyone can rock this eccentric style, it’s Jessie J.
