Brunch: Great. Healthy Vegetarian Food: Even Better. Antiques: Not Too Shabby. All three at the same time: Off-the-charts amazing.
Trust me, if you and your friends are looking to take down a taste-bud-tantalizing brunch amongst an eclectic array of vintage clothes, delightful collectibles, religious statues last seen in grandma’s attic and a surprising amount of cat-centric oil paintings, then you guys are definitely looking for Zenith.
This zany little antique shop off of East Carson in Southside is one of Pittsburgh’s best-kept secrets, offering a surprisingly delicious (and seriously inexpensive) twist to your typical breakfast-lunch mashup.
Amongst a diverse, expansive, and by no means boring collection of costume jewelry, antique furniture, and knick knacks galore, Pittsburgher’s line up from all over the city to dig into pumpkin pancakes, blackberry French toast, vegetarian gyros or whatever magic is on the menu this week.
For just $10 Zenith offers a buffet, entre and coffee or tea (all vegetarian but, trust me, you won’t miss the meat) and a dining experience that is more-than-blog worthy. Brunch starts at 11 a.m. but be sure to get there early if you don’t want to spend too much time waiting on the couches—although there’s plenty to keep you entertained. (I don’t want to give too much away but multiple Light Brights and a Steelers shrine might be hanging around.)
So assault your senses and spice up your Sunday (and slap on your most hipster-worthy outfit) with this spectacularly artsy dining experience.
Curious? You should be. To find out more visit Zenith’s website here!
