Nail polish brand O.P.I is known for their film collaborations. They’ve done Bond, the Muppets and even Alice in Wonderland. This spring, they are set to release a collection that is worthy of a heel click. The U.S. nail polish brand will launch a wizardly wonderful collection inspired by the upcoming Disney film, Oz: The Great and Powerful. The Wizard is back and better (and hotter) than ever. Who plays the man behind the curtain? James Franco of course.
If you’re expecting something red and glittery, don’t get too excited. The collection is full of simple, yet gorgeous colors. While there is no ruby manicure, you do get your hands on nudes and sparkling gold, bronze and silver. The collection is part of collaboration with Disney, which releases the film prequel to the 1939 Wizard of Oz this spring.
One of the best parts of O.P.I collaborations is what names the brand comes up with for the polishes. We love these. From left to right they are When Monkeys Fly!, Glints of Glinda, I Theodora You and What Wizardry is This? which is a liquid sand! It’s such a unique effect on your nails.
We can’t wait for the movie and will proudly be sporting the colors on our fingers and toes. It’s been too long since we’ve been to Oz and when the cast includes Franco, Kunis, Weisz and Williams, it’s sure to be entertaining. After all, there’s no place like the movies.
