When seasons change, we as women change as well. I like to think of us as chameleons that adapt to the colors around us. Of course our wardrobe is much better but they have the right idea. When we change our fall color palette, not only should we switch up our lipstick swatches, but keep our fingers and toes on trend as well. Lost in a sea of color and don’t know where to start? We did some research and found a few colors that deserve a round of applause.
Although this nail polish may not be as expensive as Kelly Osbourne’s $250K Emmy manicure, you’ll still look like a million bucks. Tenoverten Nail Polish in Worth has been flying off the shelves. We can’t say we blame the lucky owners. This dazzling gold is going to be a huge hit.
Put down your magnifying glasses. The search for the perfect ruby polish is over. We can’t get enough of the shimmering pearl finish of OPI in Danke-Shiny Red and neither can OPI Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. It’s her top pick of the season.
Green is the new black. Essie in Stylenomics is a dark emerald green that is sure to turn heads. Essie Weingarten hand-picked this color herself to lead her fall collection. It contrasts beautifully against all the rich leather accessories you’ll be carrying.
One coat of this midnight blue and you’ll radiate sophistication. Estée Lauder is on trend with Blue Blood. Makeup Director Tom Pecheux singled it out as a personal favorite for fall. The shimmer throughout gives it a sultry vibe.
We love a good grey and Chanel Le Vernis in Frenzy is no exception. This color has a lilac tint to it and it’s been the chatter since it was seen on the runway. Its light coverage is neutral so it is flattering to many skin tones. Brush it on and seal with a shiny topcoat.
From neutrals to emerald greens, this season has many colors to lust after. Since it is impossible to not use our hands on a daily basis remember to layer on very thin coats for even coverage and reapply a top coat every two to three days to prevent chips. Happy painting!
