Christian Louboutin will be added to the list of famed fashion designers with beauty lines this August when he launches Christian Louboutin Beauté, a line of nail polishes that will be sold alongside his amazingly beautiful, most coveted high heels in select shoe departments across the nation.
While developing a beauty line focusing solely on nail polish may seem extremely unconventional to most people, it seemed completely normal to the prestigious designer. Given that the infamous red soled shoes was born from red nail polish, the idea of a nail polish line made complete sense for the designer.
Christian Louboutin Beauté will have its soft launch this week, releasing the sleek Rouge Louboutin nail polish in the NYC flagship of Saks Fifth Avenue and 15 select Louboutin botiques across the United States. This sleek, red nail polish was crafted to be a perfect match to those coveted high heel soles and features a black accent on the bottle and a wond that matches the heel height of the designer’s ballerina show in Christian’s “Fetish” photo collection.
Rouge Louboutin will be featured in the shoe departments of Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, as well as in select Sephoras, on August 6th. Later that month, Christian Louboutin is set to release all 30 colors on the 31st.
