We were getting a little bit anxious for the sun and sand so for Spring Break Maniac shipped out for a little bit of Tex-Mex in the Lone Star State.
Everything is bigger in Texas but the quaint city of San Antonio seemed like it was just our speed. With plenty of street markets and boutiques, there was more than enough to keep our shopping impulse in check!
This colorful and artsy city is famous for the Alamo and, of course, we didn’t forget it! But the real fun to be had is just across the way on the river walk. Meander around the banks and hit up the vast array of restaurants and bars that line the banks. It’s the perfect place to slip into that new little sun dress, let your hair down and enjoy the nightlife.
And if you’ve got a creative craving, just around the corner is the folk art scene at La Villita, a collection of galleries and stores that are sure to satisfy anyone’s crafty side.
So if taco bell just isn’t doing it for you lately, we say head out to just above the border for a good old fashioned Southern vacay!
