At this year’s Oscars, we were simply stunned by the parade of gorgeous gowns down the red carpet. Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts sparkled in swathes of sequins, and other actresses wowed us with their metallic choices.
Even if other ladies chose less shimmery fabrics, they still looked like perfection in the reigning color palette of pastels, whites, grays and blacks. While that might sound bland, these best-dressed ladies were anything but. Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence looked absolutely breathtaking in pale pink Dior, and Zoe Saldaña made her way around the Oscars in a lovely, off-white Alexis Mabille gown with a dramatic, sweeping hem. We couldn’t get enough.
