For the past 15 years, if you drove down the highway and turned on the radio, you were bound to hear a plethora of hits by the band No Doubt. Who hasn’t heard and hummed along to classics like “Don’t Speak, “Underneath it All”, and “Hey Baby”? Well 11 years after their last record, No Doubt is at it again with their new album, Push and Shove, scheduled to come out September 25th. Their new hit single, “Settle Down” is 34 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The band was inspired to create a new album after their 2009 reunion. And while their passion for music hadn’t changed, their lifestyle certainly has. It’s easy to forget that the fabulous looking lead singer, Gwen Stefani, is 42 years old, and between the four band members they have eight kids. The album was mostly recorded in the afternoon so that members could spend time with their families, and while their past albums had been recorded around the world, this album was made mostly around the LA area.
