Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start to summer and you know what that means, pools are open! It is time for bathing suit season and I couldn’t be more excited. Sometimes finding that unique and amazing suit can be a struggle if you do not know where to look. So get ready because I’ve searched high and low and took on the expedition myself to help you find the most magnificent suit. These brands range from sexy, strappy, and chic to vibrant, wild, and edgy and satisfy every pool party, boat outing or beach day you encounter!
OYE Swimwear
Their signature and summer 2015 collections range from simple and chic to glamorous and edgy. OYE sustains their sleek style by sticking with a neutral monochromatic color scheme. All of their suits are hand made in Istanbul with Italian fabrics, to create the highest quality of style and functionality. The suit pictured, and several others, use mix materials to create a texture contrast that compliment one another and acheive a bad-ass yet sexy appearance. It is perfect for sitting by a Vegas pool bar, or hosting a party at your own house. Wrap a cute sarong around your waist with this suit and it can double as a bodysuit for your afternoon adventures. Although this brand is on the pricier side, it is well worth the splurge. The authenticity and versatility of the suit will eventually pay for itself.

This colorful suit will brighten up your beach day with one glance! Bohemian inspirations and the love for vibrant colors makes it the perfect suit for summer. There are several different base colors to choose from ranging from pastels to bright pigments and are accented with unique, large multicolor stitching. It was love at first sight when we saw this yellow bathing suit on the tan goddess of a model (as seen here). Their silhouettes range from surfer tops and monokinis to high crew necks, high waisted and traditional bikini. If you dare to be different, this is the ideal brand to purchase a bathing suit for this summer! Each suit is made using only Australian made materials. You can also find cover-ups and accessories on the site that will round out everything you need and prepare for that special summer vacation. Their ready-to-wear collection is a bit more expenisve, but you will not find these bold prints anywhere else.

Yes, we known the ‘e’ is missing. Triangl eliminated the ‘e’ and created a geometric, color-block construction on all of their suits. This brand has gone viral on Instagram, stirring up tremendous publicity. We have found the hidden gem! Do not search any further. While there may be many wannabes, nothing compares to the true Triangl. The unique material of 100% neoprene (used in scuba and wet suits), sets this suit apart from the rest. If you have never worn a wet suit or a bathing suit with this material, I will advise that you precisely figure out your size to order the best fit for you. The material suctions to you nicely but if you are moving around a lot it could leave you a little open in the ocean wind. There are many color schemes to choose from and over the past year they have ventured onto new materials such as mesh and knit to accentuate the awesome details. These beach bombshells come at an amazingly affordable price as a whole set. As an extra bonus, the site lets you order specific individual sizes which is a godsend for us curvy girls!

If you are looking for a sexy, strappy suit, Montce is the place to get it. With numerous prints, colors and styles to choose from, this site will make it hard to buy just one. This brand is not afraid of color, they have almost every hue in solid pieces and numerous vibrant prints to pair with any occasion. I love the tropical prints showcased, along with the cute chic prints in the Spring and Summer 2015 collection. Montce is known for accentuating the body without parts of the suit cutting in. Their site is arranged by collection or category where you can choose to buy a set or individual pieces, which is nice if you want to mix and match with what you already own. Handmade in the US, Montce is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL where people are known for swimwear. With only few boutique stores and little inventory stocked, each bathing suit is specially made when ordered. Another cool part about this swimsuit brand is that they do custom orders! You can design the ideal bathing suit that will separate you from all the rest. Give yourself ample time when ordering these swim suits because each one takes several weeks to arrive and even longer for custom orders.

For all of the simple, plain Jane’s out there, they have a large solid selection that are cute and flattering as well. My favorite part about this brand is that for every swim suit print you choose, they have matching cover ups!
