Your Miami style is going to be highly Latin inspired and should include a variety of flirtatious colors and luxurious accessories. This is truly the fashion melting pot. It’s here that you can mix and match the select styles I’ve had you pick up throughout your Jet Set Fall.
When doing it Big Willie style in South Beach (ha…), I want you to channel KLS a la draped dresses, shirred bust lines, and elasticized bottom hems. Miami is hella haute and I don’t just mean the clothes. Their falls may as well be our summers so leave the jackets and tights where they belong.
Your day look should be as playful as it is contagious. Feel free to experiment with structured shorts, flirty tanks, halter blouses, and wide leg trousers in light linens. Your accessories should keep with fall ’08 traditions. Stay along the lines of a skinny belt or even dainty chains and pendants.
At night, let your hair down, darken the shadow, and throw on that easy draped dress. With the right satin clutch (i.e. Juicy or Marc), you could even recycle your short and blouse combo from earlier that day. Regardless, I want to see your Steve Maddens loud and proud.
