Sunflower POWER 2014

On behalf of National Recovery Month, our friends at PerLora again hosted the Sunflower POWER event, which celebrates art and style to benefit the Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery. This year’s silent auction theme was “Pillows for Power” and nearly 60 local artists and Pittsburgh celebs participated including Stephanie Armbruster, J.G. Boccella, Terry Boyd, Rose Clancy, Amber Coppings, Gisele Fetterman, Mia Tarducci Henry, Joe King, Dorothy Lampl, Michael Lotenero, Tom Mosser, Keith Schmiedlin, Brenda Waters of KDKA, and Sally Wiggin. Sunflower models were styled by Cheeks, located on Walnut Street, and beautiful hair and makeup by Izzazu. Guest dined on delicious light fare from Altius, Bistro 19, and Square Café, and desserts from Bella Christie & Lil’ Z’s Sweet Boutique.  Big thanks to Honorary Chair Michael Lotenero and co-chairs Mary Prezioso and Sherree Goldstein, who make the event a hit each and every year!
